Self-esteem is a dynamic aspect of one’s self, says Hanna Maria, Sweden-based international model for WM Mag International.

Self-esteem is a movement to recognize yourself, first and, in the face of that, to know how to live in a fuller and more conscious way. In this exclusive interview with Hanna Maria, model.
WM – Can self-esteem be worked on?
“Yes, it’s often said that self-love is the foundation for loving others. If we’re not at peace with ourselves, it can be challenging to genuinely appreciate and value others. Self-esteem is a dynamic aspect of one’s self, which means it can be developed and improved over time.
WM – The job market is more challenging and diverse every day, many professionals feel inclined to review their careers or even rediscover their talents. How can self-esteem help in this process?
“In today’s fast-evolving job market, self-esteem is invaluable. Those with high self-esteem are often more open to new learning experiences, believing they can adapt and acquire new skills. This confidence allows them to overcome the fear of failure, take risks, and explore new career avenues. Moreover, when faced with setbacks or rejections, they view them as growth opportunities rather than personal failures. Thus, a strong self-esteem can be a guiding force, helping individuals navigate the challenges of the job market and align their career paths with their true selves”

WM – Are your life and career okay with your changes and choices?
At the beginning of my career, I was involved in interior design, which was one of my greatest passions. However, alongside this, I always had a deep compassion for those suffering and in challenging life situations. This led me to volunteer at the local women’s shelter. After undergoing several trainings and dedicating several years to the association, I was offered a position working with protected accommodations for women and children subjected to violence. This experience opened the door to a new opportunity when I was recently offered a position at the social services department working as a therapist in domestic violence. Working with these women and children, often victims of violent partners, is both challenging and rewarding. I feel a strong drive to support and help them, and I am grateful for the changes and opportunities that my professional life has provided.”
WM – Is the future for you pink?
”For me, ’pink’ represents hope, positivity, and optimism. Given the challenges and experiences I’ve faced in my career, especially working with victims of domestic violence, maintaining a hopeful perspective is crucial. So, yes, I’d like to think the future is ’pink’ for me. I’m continuously inspired by the strength and resilience of the women and children I work with, and it drives me to look forward with optimism and a belief that change and healing are possible.”
