É interessante observar os inúmeros progressos que a humanidade deu ao longo da história. Avanços tecnológicos, globalização e pesquisas de sucesso em diversas áreas. Salários mais baixos comparado aos dos homens, cargos de pouca notoriedade, assédio e a falta de respeito fazem parte da realidade de uma sociedade que tem o machismo enraizado culturalmente e produziu, perpetuou a intolerância, além de acentuar as diferenças de gênero através de ferramentas midiáticas e de estereótipos, sempre diminuindo a figura da mulher.
Em 1917, Sigmund Freud criou o conceito “O narcisismo das pequenas diferenças”, abordado pela primeira vez em seu livro O tabu da virgindade e mais tarde nos textos Psicologia de grupo (1921) e Mal-estar na Civilização (1930). Este conceito é explicado quando o indivíduo se coloca em um lugar de superioridade e ataca o outro a partir de pequenas diferenças, colocando-o em uma posição de inferioridade.
O lugar de superioridade diz respeito ao ego e ao recalque. Podemos usar facilmente como exemplo uma mulher que se destaca no mercado de trabalho. Nesse contexto, o homem se coloca em um lugar superior para apontá-la por ser diferente e incomodar por seu talento e aptidão.
Pode-se dizer também que o narcisismo das pequenas diferenças é um tipo de expressão do indivíduo quando ele se sente “ameaçado” por outro que faz parte de um grupo que sobressai de alguma maneira.
Através destas análises, é possível entender pela genialidade de Freud, como esse movimento é maléfico e afeta as mulheres no mercado de trabalho e na sociedade.
A luta é diária, constante, ininterrupta. Jamais perderemos a esperança de viver na prática e sem preconceitos o ditado “lugar de mulher é onde ela quiser”, em casa ou na presidência de uma empresa multinacional.
Profissionais devem ser respeitados sempre, independente de gênero, levando sempre em conta suas experiências e conhecimentos. A capacidade e a determinação vão muito além desse julgamento. Um dia, assim espero, o ambiente corporativo terá mais esta conquista, a quebra da barreira da desigualdade.
